Delegation to Washington, D.C. with the Speaker of the Knesset and Families of the Hostages
In February 2024, I traveled to Washington, D.C. for the second time, this time as part of a delegation led by Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana and families of the hostages, alongside Members of Knesset Yuli Edelstein and Efrat Rayten. The delegation, composed of representatives from both the coalition and opposition, presented American decision-makers with an updated picture of the situation in Israel during those challenging months.
The sense of mission was palpable throughout the delegation, which included a series of meetings with administration officials, members of Congress, and senators. The discussions focused on the joint effort to bring the hostages home and on security issues stemming from the war in Gaza.
The families of the hostages spoke from the depths of their hearts, successfully conveying their anguish to Washington and voicing the collective demand of the people of Israel to bring their loved ones back home.
